Transaction Gateway
The Transaction Gateway enables secure, real-time payment processing capability. Our gateway can handle credit card transactions between a webstore/shopping cart or a computer with Internet access and a merchant account in real time, taking approximately 5 to 15 seconds. The gateway coordinates the transfer of funds between your bank and a customer's bank. The web based graphical interface (control panel) manages your gateway and facilitates reconciling accounts, confirming authorizations, transferring funds, and generating reports. Merchants access their gateway using one of three methods. The first method is through MCPS WebLink, merchants can use WebLink to submit, authorize, capture, and settle credit card transactions without the need for separate transaction terminal or processing software. The second method is the Virtual Terminal or VTP which enables credit card processing for mail, phone order, and non-Internet businesses. The third method is the Automatic Direct Connect which enables merchants to automatically accept, authorize and process secure credit card orders directly through their web site. The Batch upload feature makes recurring billing a snap. Merchants use their gateway to send the information we need to process their transactions over a secure Internet connection. We take care of the rest on our sophisticated transaction processing system. Businesses get all the advantages of our fast, reliable commerce servers; powerful databases; and fast, secure, leased-line connections to financial institutions right from their Web browser. The graphical interface (control panel) allows for ease of management. The MCPS SSL API offers a turnkey transaction solution and provides an encrypted connection to a Secure Payment Engine. Encryption Using a MCPS approved SSL API, all orders and payment information sent from the merchant's web server will be encrypted using industry standard RC4 1024-bit encryption with SSL Version 3. This encrypted and secure data is routed through the gateway, decrypted and processed. All processed information (Approved - Declined transactions) is then re-encrypted and sent securely back to the website. Once at the web server, it is decrypted and displayed to the consumer. Finally, order confirmation e-mails are sent to both the consumer and to the merchant. The gateway SSL API guarantees that the orders and payment information generated by the merchants web server remains totally secure. Worldwide Interactive Netlink |
